Increase the Quality of Your Applications by Applying Pre-Qualifications
With additional questions in the application form of the XING Instant Application, you can specifically request important information from candidates during the application process. This way, you gain early insights, for example, whether a work permit for the EU is available or what level of German language skills the candidate has.
The answers are submitted together with the application and help you evaluate and process incoming applications more quickly.
Optionally, you can define minimum requirements. Applications that do not meet these requirements will be automatically filtered out in advance.
How to Use Filter Questions in the Application Process
To use filter questions in your application form, first create a job listing in the XING JobsManager and select the “Easy Apply” (XING Instant Application) option.
Then you can activate the filter questions for applications. Applications that do not meet the specified criteria will be automatically excluded.

If you publish job listings via a feed or API connection, you also have the option to select additional filter questions from predefined templates or create your own questions and integrate them into the application form. If you have any questions, please contact our technical support.

Pre-Qualification from the Candidate’s Perspective
Applications are possible both with and without a XING profile.
The person can apply via the Instant Application and then answers the questions you have selected.
By clicking the “Send Application” button, the application is submitted to your company. The applicant then sees a confirmation screen including a note that a confirmation will also be sent by email.
The application is automatically transmitted to your XING JobsManager account or directly filtered out if the questions were not answered accordingly.
