Approving email applications
Email applications now need to be actively approved before the application process can start.
Why it matters
- Transparency & GDPR: Data from email applications is parsed automatically and may contain errors in rare cases—for example, when an application is forwarded and the sender’s email address doesn’t match the candidate’s email address. That’s why parsed data must be reviewed and approved before the process begins.
What’s new
- Approval is mandatory. Before approval, no communication is possible: no notifications or messages will be sent.
- How it works:
- Review the parsed data (especially name and email address).
- Approve the email application by clicking “Approve profile”.
Promoting XING job ads in multiple locations
Your XING job ads can now be promoted in multiple locations at the same time within one country.
What’s new
- When creating a XING job ad, you can define up to 10 locations (within one country) for promotion on XING.
- The location + country defined in Job details will be used as the primary location and can’t be changed.
- Your job ad will be discoverable on XING under all selected locations.
- All selected locations will be displayed as job locations in the XING job ad.
Jitsi integration discontinued
The Jitsi integration is no longer supported.
What this means for you
- You can still use your own Jitsi installation and add meetings via “Insert custom video link.”
