You want to create a new employer profile, but when selecting the name you get the message "A XING page with this name already exists. Maybe someone else has already created your page?".
First, please check if you can find an employer profile with the desired name on the platform.
If this is the case, there are two possibilities:
- The profile already belongs to your company (e.g. recognizable by logo, location, and company description.
In this case, please contact Customer Service to request administrative rights to the employer profile. For this, we need the link to the employer profile, as well as to your personal XING profile. - The profile belongs to a third-party company.
In this case, you will unfortunately have to choose a different name for your employer profile.
If the profile cannot be found on the platform, it is a deactivated employer profile. In this case, please contact Customer Service to reactivate the employer profile and request administrative rights. To do this, we require the spelling of the desired employer profile, as well as the link to your personal XING profile as a request via our contact form.
