You can hide specific sections for profile visitors on your XING profile. This includes:
- Hiring details
- Skills
- Timeline (professional experience + education)
- Languages
- Qualifications and achievements
- About me
- Interests & Hobbies
- Personal details (birthday, birth name)
This it how it works: Go to your XING profile and scroll down to the bottom. Click the Go to visibility settings button. Now you can hide or show the desired sections.
Please note: Hiding a specific section does not prevent your profile from being found by the keywords it contains - or your contacts from being informed about your birthday. You (the profile owner) will still see hidden sections, so you can edit them.
